Author and blogger, Becky Graham grew up surrounded by cornfields and combines just outside a small town in rural northwest Ohio. She received her associate degree from Cedarville University and moved to the Chicago, Illinois area. While living in Illinois, she received her bachelor's degree from DePaul University, married her husband and added a son to her family. Her family recently relocated from the Midwest to South Florida where she can now go barefoot in the winter, instead of wearing boots.
Becky started volunteering at church while in high school and has continued volunteering in several churches as a children ministries teacher, woman's small group leader, woman's leader coach, and a leader in woman's ministries. She has participated in Bible Study Fellowship, mentored in the "Listen to my Life" program at Willow Creek Community Church, and attended Carol Kent's 'Speak Up' Conference, 'Write to Publish' Writer's Conference, and 'Breathe' Writer's Conference.
Over on her blog, www.SmallTownGirlBG.com, Becky writes in a warm and engaging, yet humorous style about what God is currently teaching her. After sharing her faith story on her blog, she authored, Faithful: An Unexpected Journey to Motherhood, released in May 2017 by Redemption Press. Readers comment 'it's like sitting down and talking with Becky
over a cup of coffee".
Faithful is receiving high praise for the first time author and readers are already asking for a sequel to the book. The book has received a Presidential Gold Book Award by Florida Authors/Publishers Association (FAPA) and 10/10 score for writing from BookLife Prize Critic's Review.
Persevering on a journey of unexpected detours, author Becky Graham takes her readers through loss, disappointments and grief as she trusted with an ending - one she could never imagine - to becoming a mother.
"I had no idea the struggle women dealing with infertility experienced. I've always been afraid to ask. Thank you Becky for sharing your faith
journey with us!"
"WOW! I'm amazed that Becky remained faithful to God during all the disappointments and detours she and Dave experienced! But, that is what faith is! It's surrendering, trusting, and believing that God does have a plan-even when the plan doesn't make sense!"
"I cried and laughed in the first chapter! I didn't expect how emotionally invested I'd become in the story! Loved the writing and I couldn't put the book down till I reached the last page! I want the rest of the story!!"
