I've been quiet.
It's NOT something a writer does.
It's NOT something that is good for my "brand."
It's NOT something that is good for making my blog popular.
It's NOT something that is good for my readers or followers.
But, l never started writing to say something.
I started writing because God wanted me to share what I was learning and how God was changing me into the person He wanted me to become.
So if you are expecting me to come forward to share great insights or revelations about the current state of the world and the United States, then this isn't the blog for you.
I will tell you about how I am taking in everything happening around me.
I hear the noise.
I don't like noise. I hate loud noise. Noise makes me shut down and retreat into a world of silent safety.
Does that mean I don't have strong thoughts or ideas?
No, I do.
But I don't necessarily feel the need to share them. I don't want to add to the noise.
I do not bury my head in the sand. I do not shut out the world. I do not pretend the noise doesn't exist.
Instead, I focus on how I keep myself emotionally, physically, mentally, and spiritually healthy in the midst of the noise.
So, I guess I do have something to say after all.
